Meltblown Fabrics
Meltblown fabrics are nonwoven textiles produced by melting a polymer, typically polypropylene, and then extruding it through tiny nozzles to form fine fibers. These fibers are blown by high-speed hot air onto a conveyor belt, where they bond together to form a fabric with a fine, web-like structure. This process creates a material with excellent filtration properties, making meltblown fabrics ideal for use in medical masks, air filters, and other applications requiring high filtration efficiency.
